The day man stops learning, is the day man ceases to grow. This is truer for teachers. CAPS the institute for chartered accountants (CAs) is blessed to have teachers who constantly look for opportunities to learn. In fact, they create such opportunities.
Dynamic CA-teachers Pawan Sarda and Neeraj Batra created one such opportunity when they visited Pawan’s schoolteacher in a village along Umred Road this Teachers Day Wednesday.
Inspired by friend Pawan’s commuting to CAPS on his Marin Larkspur, Neeraj had bought a bike (a Cannondale Quick 6) a day before and decided to ride together to celebrate friendship and learning.
Pawan mailed on request to say: “It was the perfect day for us to go for a ride together. We met at Dighori Square and rode to a village along Umred Road to meet my schoolteacher. We sought her blessings and had a wonderful conversation with her. Riding back, we enjoyed the lush green rural countryside, stopping over by flower fields to take photographs. It was indeed a memorable experience.
“Neeraj sir and I have been friends for more than 8 years, from the time we were CA students. Now, into teaching together (at CAPS) we try to add value to the lives of our wonderful students. After completing our CA, CS and CMA courses we decided to gain newer experiences and that opened the doors to trekking and cycling. We share our beautiful experiences with students and try to motivate them to come out of their comfort zones.
“I must thank TS Rawal sir and you for introducing us to cycling and making our lives so much more interesting.”
Neeraj plans to commute to CAPS every day, following the strides of Pawan. Let their tribe grow!
